“SXY Architects”谐音“Sexy Architecture”, 即充满吸引力的建筑空间。
我们在研究探索中不断突破人文艺术、工程技术、程序语言的多重边界，希望我们的作品拥有魅力、优雅自然、多样化而充满乐趣。

SXY architects Studio  is founded in 2010 and registered as company in 2017,  SXY is short for the founder architect’s name:  Shi XinYu  literally; while sharing the similar pronunciation,  SXY implies Sexy!  In this sense,

SXY stands for Naturally Attractive, which is the driven power that brings people into the Environment, Site, Buildings and Space.

SXY means Diversity Possibilities, which provide various solutions while facing various situations.

SXY represents Aesthetic Elegance, which is the consistently pursuit and desire for human beings.

SXY brings Exciting Pleasure, which is the truly humanistic care for the people who involved in.

Therefor, SXY architects dedicated to Sexy Architecture, in terms of offering Attractive, Diversity, Elegance and Pleasure Designs.

SHI XinYu gained his professional degree at the Qingdao Technological University(TU Qingdao), China in 2008, as a Bachelor of Architecture. Subsequently, he went to Dessau, Germany, where the Bauhaus was promoted. There he continued with his postgraduate studies at the Dessau Institute of Architecture(DIA). During the whole period of studies, he followed Christos Passas (associate director Zaha Hadid Architects | London) in StudioX,  in the field of Advanced Architectural Design, and he received his Graduate Design Diploma in 2010. After graduated from DIA, SHI Xinyu joined faculty of Architecture School, TU Qingdao. He currently leading the DAM.Lab and being an associated professor in the school.
